Daniel Enríquez Vidaña brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, and economic inclusion. Most recently, he served as President of Innovation Studio, a Boston-based nonprofit dedicated to building inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems for BIPOC, women, and immigrant entrepreneurs. There, he led strategic initiatives to expand access to innovation resources, including a citywide externship program developed in partnership with Microsoft and Boston Public Schools to connect educators and students with real-world career pathways. In his role as Executive Director of Enroot, Daniel will lead Enroot’s efforts to empower immigrant youth to achieve academic, career, and personal success through meaningful out-of-school experiences.
In addition to his nonprofit leadership, Daniel has held executive roles in the private sector at Apple and other leading technology companies. He has also served as an advisor to early-stage startups, helping mission-driven ventures grow and scale. His diverse experience across sectors reflects a deep commitment to innovation, equity, and creating access to opportunity. Earlier in his career, he led a college soccer showcase in California that connected high school scholar-athletes from Spanish-speaking households with college recruiters, and at Cradles to Crayons, he oversaw statewide program operations, expanding partnerships to provide essential resources to tens of thousands of children across Massachusetts.
A first-generation, bilingual Latino and the son of Mexican immigrants, Daniel’s personal journey growing up in Stockton, California, fuels his deep commitment to immigrant communities and social equity. He holds a B.A. degree from Santa Clara University and was recently recognized with the Eastern Bank Foundation Community Advocacy Award for his contributions to the community.
Daniel lives in Belmont, with his wife, an elementary school educator in Roxbury. Both of his daughters are proud graduates of Lesley University. He also volunteers with the Cummings Foundation and enjoys cooking new recipes and exploring New England’s vibrant natural and cultural landscape.
