Ellie Villa-Wilson serves as the Director of Pathways to Success and is passionate about postsecondary access and success for all. Since 2012, Ellie has worked in post-secondary counseling, college admissions, teaching, and educational advocacy. She is committed to supporting the aspirations and success of students from first-generation, immigrant, and historically excluded groups.
Experiencing new places, cultures, and connecting with people is something Ellie welcomes. She has lived in New Hampshire, Mississippi, Massachusetts, and the Dominican Republic. Embracing unfamiliar environments can feel both exciting and scary. Ellie believes in creating a sense of belonging for immigrant students and their families in the United States and wants to empower every individual she meets.
In her spare time, Ellie enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, watching sports, and dancing. She holds a Master’s of Education in Higher Education from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire.
